Today I will tell you how March 8 was created. The origins of the holiday go back to 1857. March, when working women in New York protested demanding equal work rights for men, reduction of working days, and improvement of working conditions. 1908 on March 8, 2021, a rally was called again in Now York at the call of the Women’s Social Democratic Organization, which was attended by 15,000 women, demanding not only labor rights but also suffrage. 1909 The  Us Socialist Party  declared the national  holiday of women on the last Sunday of   February.
